i am working many jobs right now so the series production is slower than i thought, but it is fine because i think im going to start from the basics and get outside help on it too

yeah you just have a free trial of the subscriber program. In order to buy more subscription (one, three, or twelve months) go back to your gallery page and click "upgrade" (on the right, just above your journal) and it will tell you what to do from there
no no, you don't HAVE to pay, it's just if you want a "subscription" (no ads, better viewing, etc) then you have to pay for it. But basic DA is totally free. They just gave you a trial of the subscription program.
